Our Change Beyond the Walls (CBTW) partner for the first and second quarter of 2023 is Central Detroit Christian Community Development Corporation (CDC). CDC is a non-profit, faith based organization committed to empowering people, creating positive opportunities for the community and loving neighbors as ourselves. They offer adult and teen employment readiness programs that develop marketable skills for the most in-demand jobs, while also providing work opportunities through our neighborhood businesses. In addition, they provide educational opportunities for grades K-12 through enrichment programs, summer camps, and various education and employment programs.
