Sunday School is offered after the service for all school aged children. Our Elementary students use the CRC “Kid Connection” curriculum which is geared toward multi-aged groups and active, hands on learning. The elementary students are dismissed near the end of our morning worship service to have a time of praise and offering as well as a lesson, game and/or craft. Elementary Sunday School is dismissed at 11am.
During our Education Hour (11-11:45am), Elementary students have the option to participate in “Recreation Station” where they are led in teacher-guided extension activities from their Sunday School lesson.
Our middle schoolers use their Sunday School time (11-11:45am) to learn more about what it means to be a Christian in our world today and how they are an important part of God’s plan.
The Heidelberg Catechism and the Belgic Confessions serve as the foundation of our high school Sunday School curriculum. Through these unifying documents of our denomination, the high school students are taught the foundational beliefs of our denomination. High School students meet with Pastor Engle from 11-11:45am.
Sunday School does not meet on Communion Sundays so that our children and youth may join the adults at “Coffee and Fellowship” after church.
