Planting Seeds….Growing in Faith

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  –Matthew 19:14 NIV

The Children’s and Youth Ministry at North Hills is the ministry that serves our children from birth through high school.  We strive to provide fun, meaningful, and faith based programs for our children as well as support for our parents and families.

Our aim is to walk alongside the parents and families of our church as we together guide our children in the foundations of our Christian faith.  We seek to model and teach the love of Christ to our youngest members so that they may grow in their knowledge and faith in Jesus Christ.

With the exception of our nursery, which is available every Sunday throughout the year, all of our children’s and youth programs run Labor Day through Memorial Day.  In the summer, childcare is available for children birth-3 years old in Room D, and 3-4 year old children can participate in “Summer Sundays”- a Bible story time just for them in Room C.

Elementary aged children can enjoy a quiet worship bag that can help settle and focus them during the worship service.  They are located just outside the pastor’s office and contain a children’s bible, quiet fidgets, twistable crayons, pencil, paper, and a “sermon notes” worksheet that can be turned in for a prize!
